I think she said that bcz they're kinda like arguing but in a friendly way,
If u have watched, tom and jerry, u would understand what she said/meant,
don't be so obnoxious!

I watched Tom and Jerry hundreds times already. They didn't argue much but chasing and pranking each others, so hilarious. Yes, I am obnoxious, I am sorry.

Cat and mouse arguing, its how she referred to there friendly banter.

Yeah. It became like a phrase "Tom and Jerry" couple to refer to close friends who argue and bicker. Some friends roast each other and make jokes to just have lighthearted and witty fun. And in some episodes Tom would give up and leave, but Jerry would follow him. Or someone else would give Tom a hard time and Jerry would fight on his behalf. You'd think they hated each other by the way they act, but in reality they need the other and are always together. "Tom and Jerry" couples.
