Blaming someone for their insecurities is step one in being an abusive partner.
Also, it's terribly inconsiderate and horrendously mean to tell someone that their feelings are negated just because their partners don't feel good in confronting those feelings.
Maya was in the wrong in how he approached the situation. First off, he demanded Nemu tell him that he loves him. That's not the way to go. Freaking out about them possibly breaking up and then hounding Nemu about it when he can clearly see Nemu is about to cry.
I'm not saying Maya can't express himself but that wasn't the right way to say things like that. In a situation when someone is already high strung and rmotionally charged, it's important that you remain the person who is calm, collected, and approachable even if you feel like you aren't. And unfortunately for Maya, Nemu has been seething in anger/anguish/insecurities for a whole night. He had to be the more mature of the two and he simply failed to do so.

I’m sorry but what manga are you reading where you can say “nemu doesn’t care about how maya feels”... sweetie I think we’re reading two different stories because all nemu thinks about is being considerate to maya and taking care of maya. And god forbid the ONE TIME in their relationship nemu actually tries to communicate and say his true feelings, he is crucified. Love this double standard y’all
My heart is clenching reading these two chapters. I don't want to see Maya to be this depressed . I'm sorry but I blame Nemu for all of this he's too insecure and selfish that it also affects other people. He doesn't care about how Maya feels, he even doesn't notice how Maya works hard for his job and worst of all he doesn't trust Maya at all about Ruka. All he thinks about is "I'm too boring for you", "why aren't you jealous" crap. (=_=)
