exactly!! I am so sick of seeing comments hating on nemu for making maya feel depressed??? as if nemu has not been depressed and anxious FOR THE PAST THREE VOLUMES?!! Like I love maya, but WHO’S FAULT IS IT THAT WE’RE IN THIS SITUATION YALL? anyway love this comment thank u for this!
I know people are annoyed with Nemu’s insecurities but you’re forgetting a couple of things-
1) he was bullied, raped and blackmailed by Maya. Yes, he fell for him but which Stockholm victim doesn’t ?
2) he’s never been in a relationship
3) he adolizes Maya and believes that he deserves better than him.
4) Maya is very happy and likes to work with Ruka. Ruka-the person who is mature, “cool” and mature enough to mess with the feelings and naive behavior of Nemu.
5) when opportunity came, Maya always chose Ruka. Even left Nemu in the middle of the night after sex and got pissed off about it when Nemu asked him about it! Even an idiot like Nemu knew this isn’t right.
Yes, Maya got kicked out of his house for loving Nemu. Yes, he is working hard for him and Nemu. Yes he now tells Nemu that he loves him but then look at the situation in which he did it. Both are very immature with insecurities and different perspectives. Ruka isn’t the only reason why they get in this type of drama. This relationship did not start in a healthy way. Right now it looks more in Nemu’s eyes that Maya’s priority is Ruka than him. Ruka’s words are being manifested by Maya’s actions. You can’t blame Nemu for that.
