I don't think the top/bottom issue was really that *deep* in this one tbh? two alphas fighting for dominance is pretty normal imo... and it's not like he was viciously refusing to bottom. it just played out the other way around. also he did try right in the beginning. as the other reply mentioned (and as another extra chapter that someone linked in the comments shows) it seems like they do actually switch in the future :^)

Idk what takaomi's reason for not wanting to bottom was but they should definitely switch. I rlly liked the story and the art is absolutely beautiful but I hate it when theres a struggle for who gets to top. Like take turns guys. It's as simple as that. Ofc if someone likes being bottom while the other likes topping its completely fine for them not to switch but if your partner wants to try it out, theres no excuse not to let him. Its basic respect/etiquette to be reciprocal
