His insecurity about their relationship IS valid since how many chapters ago, Maya couldn't spend as much time with him bc of Ruka's assignments. Is it not okay to be selfish at times? And it's on his mf birthday (´༎ρ༎`) not to mention, it was his first time choosing to spend it with a LOVER instead of his parents. It's his moment of growing up , and yet he fears that he is still lagging behind Maya who's already leaps ahead of him in terms of experience with relationships and sexuality.

He’s constantly and always led on by Maya, and barely ever get to do what he wants, always relying and depending on Maya, constantly making him insecure and hate himself, which is emotionally draining and could potentially lead him to having depression and anxiety, which he probably already has considering the recent updates. And because he has learned helplessness, he can’t really get out of this relationship by himself, until driven to a mad point where he is just done and going to completely Cut Maya off and out of his life for ever. And honestly, I wouldn’t mind that, because this story kind of sucks and I really honestly only read it for feels and drama and yaoi sex. Maybe you should pipe down a little a take a psychology lecture for once
