I bet he didn't want to dump him. I mean Candy is obviously back from the past for a reason. It was already mentioned that Candy dumped him out of no where, something had to have happened. It was probably a forced break up. But i guess we'll get answers in the next chapters.

Yeah I think so too. Something seems fishy about that break up, knowing that how much Candy loves him. But still I really, really want to see Candy’s sad face (￣∇￣")
