yuri is for boys, like yaoi for girls.
Let me just say my problem is not yuri... it’s the female characters writing problem. Like how should I put this into better words...
Yknow how there’s a point to why the population of Zootopia is animals and there is no point in Sing why the population is animals? Yeah, yaoi (male character) is the point and yuri (female character) is for gag.
I’m waiting to see the female character writing problem fixed... don’t throw Emma from Neverland here because she is one gives no perspective as the lead female character in her story. It could as well be a little 11 year old boy and the story would’ve be the same!
And that is the problem with writing female characters. They can be replace or remove and the story would still be there FUCKing SAME!
Sorry if anyone got trigger. I’m a bisexual fujoshi and that’s my opinion.
That's really insightful and a good point! Come to think of it, its's true for other media as well. You got me thinking...
Exactly! Like for the yaoi, the usual approach is how the straight guy might want to marry a woman and have kids due to sociatal standards and what it means to be a man. It’s a real journey.
Whereas I have yet to see a yuri where a girl question whether or not her straight partner is satisfied sexually without the penis. Or that the partner chose to stay with the girl who can’t open a jar for the partner.
Or how girls worry about their menstruel cycle because it’s a real thing... but don’t ever pop up anywhere other than for gags? Which is still rare?
Especially when omégas go through heats in yaoi sooooo and it’s what made the omega verse so popular. Lol.

Im a girl and a fujoshi, and im straight. I don’t read yuri because i feel uncomfortable with it as a straight woman,(i respect lesbians and BI) but i wholeheartedly support yaoi and i love seeing two guys together and i even ship celebrities. Am i the only one like this? Ive only encountered fujoshis that are either BI or homosexual in the internet, so im wondering if there’s someone out there like me.
