Thank you for not shitting on MaryJun. I mean the way she was raised makes it impossible for me to think badly of her. She can't help being that innocent with that kind of upbringing. Her mother is absolutely another story. She KNEW the guy was married, that he never once visited his family but never ONCE thought of the consequences for the family he left behind? But I do think that any bitter feelings Violette may have towards MaryJun are still WELL deserved.
Yeah i agree maryjun didn't actively do anything to cause vio any harm thats way i too cant really hate her it would have been a whole other story if she knew everything all along but she didn't so she didn't even knew that vio was suffering

Because in the novel it revealed that her mum raised her as a son until puberty hit her hard so that she could be a perfect soon and due to her similar appearance to her father be a perfect carbon copy of him which obviously didn't work out and as soon as she realised that she threw vio away and ignored her starting hate her so much that vio would purposely avoid her insidethe mansion and in general because of that and only time she actively went to see her was when she was dying there she essentially said the same stuff as in the manga like why are you here why isnt he here basically taking one last huge dump on vios whole existence before she died and due to vio beeing raised for almost 10-13 years as a boy she was awful at all the subjects for female nobels and i mean everything in the manga vio is popular with many"friends" and "fans" but in the novel not so much the is a barely average student and has majore self confidence issues because of her appearance/body (probably because of her mum and her hating her when she became more feminine) like omg omg omg i dont give a fuck about anybody else dying (except for yulan i care about him) but please just let vio be happy at least once
