Well seme was under the implication of a thought that uke broke it off with him so with that in mind it wouldn't make sense to contact him whatsoever or matter at all even if he did i doubt uke would communicate back because its kinda his personality or that his burdened feeling of being betrayed prevents him from doing so
The only thing I can say about the second couple is... their super major flaw was lack of communication. Not just for the seme but the uke as well. One or the other could've contacted the other, but both of them did not. I understand the seme being conscious of the heavy atmosphere that comes when they talk, but holding off talking for so many years? A call or message should've come at least, from the uke too. The uke could've asked and tried to sort it out before deciding that it really was over. Thus, there was no actual resolution to that at all and was left in the air.
