I can't stand it specifically in this this chapter because there're making the uke this hopeless, spineless, overly clueless guy. Even if the uke wasn't so...Mary Sue, we're still gonna hate the seme at the end because he's cheating and abusive trash.
Like they could at least make the uke seem even a tiny bit sad (at least briefly) about the bone marrow, but he's happy about the mayor's son giving it to his lover, who he doesn't even know either of them, it just comes of as him being really naive in character.
No, you're not the minority. You're the majority. And you obviously haven't read the raws if you think your mistaken interpretation is going to come true. If you don't like spoilers don't make snap judgements about a story like almost every other reader who has never read ahead ever then claim you're in some kind of minority/a victim.
Um it's sad that people, such as yourself, love seeing REALLY boring and clichéd AF stories because you think they're not boring or clichéd. I mean, seriously, I'm so fucking done with the trope of an uke having to try so hard before people will actually concede that the seme is a shitty, piece of trash. It's SO overdone. Ktbn.
Okay so 1. I'm saying that that people should see the seme as trash because of his actions (being abusive and cheating) regardless of how the uke acts, either way the seme is shitty.
2. You don't know wtf I read, and certainly can't judge from one story, so don't assume you know what's 'sad' about my tastes in manga/webtoons, in your opinion
3. 'You obviously haven't read the raws ' to original comment, and I'm fucking done with people reading raws and acting all high and mighty than those, such as myself that are just following and commenting on the story as it updates, i.e, using this site what its ACTUALLY meant for in the first place
I beg to differ with your opinion of Zhi Shu.
You said he was hopeless, spineless, overly clueless? FAT CHANCE, naive? maybe
I think he IS one of the strongest Uke in terms of mentality and spirituality.
Let's see... Dare you eloping with your beloved person even with the opposition from your family, even considering that your relation with that person is 'abnormal', even knowing the consequences and what it entails, and bear with it? He did
Do you know some keys of how to keep a 'family' intact? respecting some privacy, toleration, gritting teeth enduring, forbearance and perseverance, proper comunication, and 'transparency'... those are some of them, and He did all of that but what about the other party?
He knew that his 'husband' has been playing with many people outside, and he 'tolerated' that for he knows the dark side of business world too.
All he hoped was that for his 'brother' could get back home safely every night and loved him back just like he vowed back then, and care for him in every little moments.
He knows of his 'brother' temper and character has changed now.Tthat jerk won't consider himself faulty, even if Zhu confront him directly, the jerk only get more agitated and 'closed his ears' -see no malice, hear no evil-. Even with the seed of discord that had been sown, he bear with it. -in hope that he still love him-
Even so Zhu Shi was just a person on his own, he has a limit... no matter how forgiving he is, there are some things that should never be crossed.
Now he found out that he was afflicted with Leukemia and was told that he only has one year left. The problem is, there's no one there to support him both physically and mentally: No (blood-related) family, No 'lover', No 'friends'. What else will be left even if he managed to be cured? just regret of a lone person.
So I know from where his attitude came from...
Spoiler note:
The reason why Zhu 'stopped' working from the company was that his 'brother' didn't like to see him getting close to other, hence Zhu also has no 'friends'
Victim? Lol! Since when do the readers become victims for thinking their opinion isn't popular? LMAO.
Get out of here with the raws. I'm not asking for spoilers. The forums are meant to discuss current chapters you know? Books, manga, literature of any kind aims to make its readers think. Forming thoughts, opinions, and predictions is not making "snap judgements". This is what this forum is here for, to share thoughts with the fandom.
If you don't like reading people's opinions and want to spoil others, I suggest you go elsewhere.

I know I'm a minority here but I can't stand this story. It's so cliche and obviously fishing for tears, not to mention overly frustrating for no reason. I will suck it up until the end because I want to see the seme suffering, although we all know how that's going to go: the second half will be spent on the seme repenting and us rolling our eyes
