I do agree with you, but you have to acknowledge other way. I don't even know from what site is this from, so if people are encouraged enough, they will go, look it up and pay for it, bcs they want to appreciate the author... this happened with me to tons of other works, like "If you hate me so much" I went and bought all episodes from lezhin bcs I loved it. "BJ Alex" I bought some episodes too, to appreciate the author... from this site I found out about lezhin where I bought tons of others episodes
so if you don't like the fact that it's theft from the side of authors, then take it as a fact that this can serve as an advertisement too
Yeah I can see your point, but also once a couple of chapters are here that should be enough advertising. You said so yourself you purchased some of BJ alex, I am assuming you didnt buy all of it because you had already read some of it. Personally I dont think official translations should be shared here because it really is taking away potential earnings, even if it can be a sort of advertising. But my argument wasnt if we should or shouldnt share here. Honestly people wont stop sharing, and I am not saying they should.
I made the post because I had seen a few people complaining about ppl saying to buy it, saying that they are hypocrites because they are here. They say the people buying it are rubbing into the faces of ppl that cant all the while acting like they are entitled to the content. It bothers me that people get upset when they dont have the money to buy something but still demand to have it.
If you havent purchased it you have no right to it, so if it gets dropped and is no longer there you (as in everyone including me) have no right to complain or demand it of ppl.
Do I get upset when I no longer have access to a story I really like? Fuck yes, but I dont feel entitled to it if I am not buying it.

I honestly didnt really see people being hypocrites about reading manga here. I feel that most people acknowledge that weather its licences or not it is illegal.
The difference is once it has been licensed then it turns into the creators, translators, and distributors loosing out on potential earning.
What do most people do if they can get something for free vs having to pay? Well typically they will go the free rout, me included.
I did see people say they were upset because they can not afford to buy it, and honestly that totally sucks. That doesnt mean you have a right to read it for free. If it stops being shared, though as we see now and I'm sure most everyone knew it wont be, then that's it. Nothing you can do about it, and you shouldnt demand that people provide these things for you, because I have seen that.
Also I saw someone suggest to send a message to tappytoon so they can have different options for getting coins and people downvoted it. Like why would you down vote that? They gave a good suggestion, if enough people go and ask for different ways of getting coins and its provided then people can read it and support the author without having to spend money, turns into a win win.
