I don't think she does. It's been a long time since I read this, so I am not sure, but the friend is the one who saw it (twice). Futaba gets startled when she sees the mom's pic, when she hears the cat's name and things like that, maybe those things got mixed up in your memories.

I just finished reading the manga so I can u give u an accurate reply. No, Futaba doesn’t read her name written in Kou’s notebook. The people who have read her name in the notebook are Tanaka sensei, Kominato Aya and his friends from his previous middle school. That’s it.. those are all the people, but not Futaba.

I read this manga a long time ago And I reread it again coz I watch the anime again. And I was wondering if someone could help me. To correct me. Is there a scene where Futaba saw the note that Kou wrote her name on the notebook? I think I did see it the first time I read this but the second time I didnt see the scene. Is my memory manipulating me? I mean I think I like that scene and this is not the ending on my memory. Can someone? Does anyone??
