I’m sorry, but isn’t that literally Stockholm syndrome? People who end up feeling empathetic, love, positive feelings, for their abuser, rapist, person who did bad things to them?

Hmp I also read similar novel with stockholm syndrome, Hehe but i don't feel any romance with it. It's literaly discribe the abuser, rapist and the victim and i love the flow of the story. The way the victim thinking is not in a romantic way. (I think) coz her feeling describe sadness, dread. But in the end when the victim escape and live with her family. I though that was a good ending but still she go back with her kidnapper. And it's creep me out lol

I stopped reading it hahaha
