Ok hear me out ... we're missing story worth 6 pages since last couple of chapters ...

I know a bunch of people including me would like to see progress and there are people on the other side who say the pace is fine. Now here is my question: why has the amount of story depicted reduced? I know that this is a slice of life and slow paced, but slow paced doesn't mean less amount of things in a chapter. For example:
Ch 1 had 54 pages (I know pilot ch will have more but you'll see a trend soon)
Ch 15* - 32 pages
ch 45* - 33 pages
ch 87* - 30 pages
ch 115* - 33 pages
ch 165* - 22 pages
ch 198* - 31 pages
ch 222* - 30 pages
ch 252 - current are any where betweeb 19 - 26 pages with most chapters being 24 pages
* chapters were chosen at random ...
**All page counts are taken inclusive of credits pages (on average 1-2)
Now we are missing 6 pages worth of story on an average if not more! ToT
This ^^^^ is what frustrates me .... not the pace but the amount *sigh*
End rant ....

and im not even sad/mad about the pace of the progress on the love side but on the arc itself, I feel that's taking too long for anything to happen(i didn't do it out of laziness but it would be interesting to see the size of the arcs from the beginning to now).

Please do become a writer then since you obviously don't think they should have lives. Thanks.

I am a writer and I can undertsand being ambitious when starting a project and laying out more content in the beginning than I can handle. That being said it is good when first starting to carefully think about how much content to let out because readers notice when it's even one page shorter than the last chapter. I can understand both but for the author it's either send out shorter chapters or take longer before updating. Either way the author loses so which one is the greater loss is how to think of it. At least the author is getting content out.
