I think he's from sabita yoru demo koi wa sasayaku if I remember correctly.

Yep in that manga, the main charcater uke here, was the lover of the blonde guy. But he bacame abussive, and almost killed him. When he finally started to realize he couldn't continue like that. The blonde confronted the abusse I think. And the abbuser begued to run from him and never appear in front of him becasue he couldn't control his anger anymore.
And then they creted this side story wjere he becomes normal again even if he took a little work.

I do have to read it again to check the details cause I migjt be wrong lol but I know it was kinda like that lol.

Somehow Mayama (Yumi's partner) didn't look like I'd remembered him from Sabita... then I realised it was merely that he wasn't wearing glasses in Sabita and that alone had made him look like a different character to me at first!

I guess it's been longer than I thought since I last read that (because I do read Kan-chan and Shuuna's stories quite often).

You have it slightly wrong, the blonde guy didn’t confront his abuser. The abuser realised what a monster he was becoming and begged the blonde to leave him as he didn’t want to become a monster and hurt the one he loved. It’s tragic really because the uke in this story (the ex abuser) was sexually assaulted at work and had so much shite happen to him, and sadly he took that out on his partner who wasn’t helping him (not his partners fault he didn’t realise what was going on and tbh even then it doesn’t justify the abuse).
