Well aren't haru and ren siblings too, people seems to be okay with them getting together even when they are siblings. So wouldn't it be okay for Aki x Shima to get together? They are legal adults.

People are okay with Ren and Haru getting together because they are not blood related, since Ren is adopted. Shima and Aki are actual brothers (twins) who share the same blood. I don't mean any hate or anything, because I was just curious if the author would want Shima and Aki to get together, since the manga and anime is kinda mainstream now, so many people would have a problem with it.
i wouldn't be that mad honestly. It's fiction. And consiguinity can't happen between too male... Anyway I must just have loose morals ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
