I have a best friend I am love with. However, it is very clear that I love her way more than she loves me... I always text first, make plans first, etc. It made me sad how unequal our relationship was, so I tried to make new friends & forget her. However, it's not that easy to control who you love. I could give up all my friends for her, but she wouldn't do the same.
It always takes time to heal. It might be painful for you now but in the long term it's beneficial for you to cut ties with her. Being with someone who clearly don't love you as much as you love them will just drag your painful feelings!
