Ein & Diesel

I believe that Diesel and Ein fell in love at first sight and they do love each other, but since Diesel was grateful to Yanek he wanted to stay with him, I think he never loved Yanek, he was just grateful and comfortable with him. How can you love someone like Yanek who really never put Diesel first, he used him for sex, was amused by Diesel and was using him as bodyguard but never thought of him as more than that. Ein depsite his lies to Yanek he always cared for Diesel ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I totally agree, but I wanna add to your comment cause there's so much here.
So Yanek loved Diesel in one way and that would be like how was was depicted, being Diesel was his "dog". Yanek took him in and gave him a collar, trained him, fed him, etc. But left it as surface level bullshit. I think eventually he may have come to truly love Diesel but Diesel would be mistaking his gratitude for love (if like Yanek never got a knife to the throat). As for Ein and Diesel. I think they love each other, but its kinda obvious guilt and obligation are a huge barrier for Ein's feelings for Diesel. Along with the trouble Ein suggested about Diesel being a wolf (how he didn't like it? I cant remember what he said but it was in earlier chapters when Minsuk was talking). So I personally think Diesel loves Ein but also feels guilty and his guilt makes him feel confused. I'm going to stop there before I write a full fucking essay, but yeah I agree with you just wanted to take what you said and expand it.ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

I agree partially. Yanek mostly saw Diesel as his property and maybe he did truly love Diesel but we're not supposed to know for sre since the author pretty much left it a mystery to be forever unsolved with this last update. Also, if he actually loved Diesel, it was the abusive kind of relationship that Diesel asked Bexan about "Know that being with him will be the end of you but stays anyway" in which Bexan asks if this person is Ein and Diesel tells him that Ein's the one who killed this person.
I don't think Diesel loved Yanek like he loves Ein. It always seemed to me he felt grattitude, a sense of loyalty. Pretty much like a dog to his owner rather than a wolf to it's mate or even a person to their lover. (=・ω・=)

It really hits home when Ein sees Diesel transform for the first time. Yanek didn't even bother trying to treat Diesel but instead worried about Ein's "loose" lips. So Yanek had a "love" for Diesel like a man love his dog but Diesel isn't just a dog. I feel like what Ein has towards Diesel is a "love" that will make Diesel whole. Just like in the beginning when they were out in the park with Minsuk and Bexan, Ein was in turmoil how Diesel "disappears" during the day and how in pain he was. But Minsuk was like, "No, Bexan is here right now as a dog and he is the same as he is when he's human." I think Ein started to break down some of the walls preventing to love Diesel. And Diesel is learning from Bexan too.

Also, Ein's job was to get Yanek caught (not killed) and innocent people (Diesel) away. Ein had a soft spot for Diesel when they first met at the butcher shop. He started become infatuated with Diesel after that.
