I would love to hear your guys opinions on the message of this manga but I think it has a huge reflection on today's society and how we view others who don't necessarily "resemble" us, both physically and culturally.
Some view others as "monsters" when they, themselves are the REAL monsters. a Huge example of this is the mass shooting at the mosque in New Zealand.
I think the message is acceptance and understanding.
The same thing could be said on the bombings on churches this year killing elders and children, and also foreign tourists few years back in Bali, Indonesia by radical Islamic jihadis. They look at churches as the nest of the devils and foreign tourists as abomination to their true religious path.
