I actually like when BL mangas approach the hardship of coming out. Especially if it's not through some stupid shit like ''hey I got this pic of u and I'm gonna blackmail ur ass''. I'm hoping for a more mature approach to this lul

it's not supposed to be mature. It's supposed to be fun to read. It's not a documentary on the victims of the LBGBTNMDJYCVPFX. You can get that reading material in a gay bookstores, which are loaded with them.

sis, it's an 18+ story. i think its supposed to be mature. and who are you to decide what a story should and shouldn't be about? you're reading a story about gay romance, you shouldn't be able to decide that it can't be about, you know, gay issues.
also you're reading gay romance so making a mockery of the lgbt community is a bit.... :/

I'm not reading a story about gay romance, lgbwhatever, or gay issues. I'm reading a story about characters created by women for women. They're specific to the yaoi genre, and they don't come from gay male relationships. People who make that assumption are way off.

I think you, like many here, are confused about what someone like me can and can't do. I can express my opinion. I can't decide what these stories can be about. That's up to the authors, so why are you telling me I shouldn't be able to decide what it can or can't be about? wtf? That's weird.

in the yaoi genre, mature means it has sexual content, sis.

    I'm not your sister, btw.

i mean, you are reading gay romance. they're gay men. in a gay relationship. in love. that's gay romance lol. and so what if its for women by women? so women aren't allowed to talk about gay issues? and it's korean. so it's BL, not yaoi. and bl can express different topics, because it's technically a different genre lol.

and i'm not confused. you're allowed to share your opinion. you can say what you want. but that isn't my point. i'm not telling you to shut up, i'm disagreeing with you. and you're complaining about what the story is about, while reading it.

actually, on lezhin, 18+ means mature content. AKA violence, gore, mature themes, and sexual themes. so it could be any of those, besides sexual themes lol.

and yes, i know. i was being condescending, hettie.

Kiddo, there's a difference between documentaries and just a mature story. The usual blackmailing thing is never 'fun' for anyone, I never enjoyed reading that. It's childish to the point it'd only appeal to children I'd hope to not find reading stuff like BJ alex. I ain't asking for tragedy or social commentary, child, I'm expecting a more respectable approach since the story IS grounded in reality and loves to explore its character's state of mind and feelings. You seem to belittle it just because it's BL, and honestly I don't care about your opinion, but excuse me while I keep a bit of tasteful dignity in what I enjoy reading. You're free to go and read A man like you I guess
