I didn't respond to the opening statement...in most omegaverse stories, omegas are smaller, weaker than betas and alphas, have smaller penises and also are usually bishonen males and pretty females...traits that inspire one to want to care for and protect them.
In this manga omega s are pretty and delicate... the mother only had alpha children...thats why she was happy to finally get a child that was omega (delicate and pretty)... from the looks of it the omega s are not descrimanated on....and they did say the the omega rejected all the alphas that hit on him....and yes I think he was a virgin for 26 years...his reaction to pleasure told me so....BUT this is all speculation on my part
Yeah it looks like in this one the omega is treated with respect, and as equals.
About Doyun hating Taehan.. I think that's a bit off. I agree that the fact that he has known along that he was an omega has affected his dating/sexual life.
So i'm pretty sure he has not realised it himself but he actually likes Taehan.. and maybe that has been going on for a long time too.

And i'm not sure if there is the concept of ''fated mate'' in this manga so it could be either Doyun is the fated partner of Taehan or he is simply completely into Taehan which is why he reacts only to him.
As to the prejudice towards omegas, i can only come to the conclusion that this society is just different and tolerant. And this is welcoming and refreshing! I'm actually tired of those stories where the omegas is always suffering because of bias.

Lets start with mom, its obvious she really wanted a girl not an omega kid bc it's kinda sick to crossdress a baby boy; but she is also happy to have an omega child, why, who would wish that on their kid? Are omegas revered in this verse? The stereotypical omega was able to get a job in warehousing and that seems unusual bc they didn't discriminate, they hired him. Then there is our MC living his best life before the heat comes and fux it up. Now he gets pain, nausea, etc. and has sex twice with a guy he always fights. (I don't know if our MC hates him since he is only responding to the alphas behaviour in instigating the fights.) The doctor congratulates him for finally becoming an omega.Maybe this society really needs the omegas it has to breed and that is why this guys mom and doctor were so worried about him getting heats. One more question, was this guy a virgin for 26 years? I get he never had anal sex at least on the receiving end but no sex at all? Finally pheromones that smell like grass? Does grass smell sweet like that?
