Her surname was Momota and she probably gave the same surname to Momo (bcoz they had no background of his father). Momo is probably short for 'Momota' and both of them used it.
It is his real name, just a shorter version of it. Like a nickname or stage name perhaps.
Why did his mom said that momo was using her work name? Does that mean its not his real name
