My belief is that she wants to keep the spell going bc she really does love the guy, even if its artificial love. Besides the embarrassment sometimes, she's able to initiate PDA and enjoys her time with him (which is a big difference from tsunderes in every other shoujo who's like t t touch you no way baka!). big time Stockholm syndrome, but she also likes her personal maid and her life. Im excited to see how it'll turn out tbh!
oh, i just reread ch 3, (i gotta think before i speak xD ) but i think the problem with letting the spell break is that she could die in an instant, like he has his sword on him at all times, so she keeps the spell going as long as she can and once she has enough money she can silently bounce if he still "loves" her with the comfort that they wont hunt her down and hurt her.

Owo That’d be cool, but my main worry is when the spell will cease to exist. It's not a matter of ”if” because of the weakening stages its in. I support the idea of her continuing to deceive others with the love-love cliche, though. The duke’s reaction will be the most with it!
I feel as though a more realistic plan in her situation would've been to attempt breaking the spell then bouncing the hell out of there; Literally, its reckless, but the best bet she's got to living the life she herself wants rather than deceiving the others.(〜￣△￣)〜
