Ok, so I didn't have a huge problem with the uke, but I have seen a lot of controversy, so here's my take on it.
First of all, the uke was not sexually liberated. He clearly felt dirty and unworthy because of how he slept around. It's not slutty shaming to point out that he wasn't happy with how easy he was.
Second of all, I wish the author tool this plot a step further. The concept of losing innocence and change was really interesting, but was depicted super unrealistically. Rather than being the backdrop of a shallow romance, I wish the mangaka took time to explore the ramifications on promiscuity.
Also, I don't have an issue with sleeping around per say, but if it is causing feelings of self-hate (and the person keeps doing it), then it may be a sign of self-destructive behaviour.
