That's why I think that the majority of readers don't have a problem with Makoto's free sexual life but some other details, because lets be honest, this manga is kind of crossing the line. Firstly, Makoto apparently slept with Shou's father. It's disturbing and wrong on so many levels, like, why are you having sex with a father of someone you love? Even if Shou would never return his feelings, it's basically betraying their friendship. I would just cut all the ties with so-called friend that slept with my parent, because it would make me feel grossed out and HURT. It's really shitty thing to do and try to put yourself in Shouta's shoes. Makoto's sleeping around obviously DOESN'T make him unworthy of love, but the fact that he slept with his friend's/crush's father makes his feelings seem unreal, as if he doesn't care about Shou at all. Secondly, there is this quasi-prostitution thing going on and it's apparently for Shou's sake? Even if you say that Makoto simply likes sex it's still suspicious. Moreover, Shou gets blamed for Makoto's own decisions while in my opinion he's more of a victim here, because, yet again, no one normal would like their friend/possible love interest to do something like this FOR THEM. I don't care if it's 90% for pleasure and 10% for business, this 10% still make it unhealthy and wrong. For me Makoto's actions speak louder than words. He could have good intentions, he could be in love with Shou, but does he really care about him? Set aside their later romantic relatioship. Makoto didn't have any obligation to stay chaste for someone he thought would never return his feelings, but he simply failed as a friend. And to make things clear, I don't approve of calling Makoto degoratory names. I think it's best to express your opinions in possibly non-offensive way.
