Welcome though everytime I reread it I get confuse since when the accident happened Ro was drawn as a big dog and not a fluffy pomeranian.

maybe he turned into a pomeranian because of his regrets of hurting a child. if he's smol he can't hurt a child the same way
but he was already a cute pomeranian even before he got into his first family
no he was not, he was a puppy, but had always been a regular black dog. He grew bigger as he lived there. if check all the scenes he appears in when living with his first family he looks like a medium/big size dog
Ro said in the beginning (1st chapter) that he's a Mountain dog, aka a wolf, aka a Japanese wolf (based on the author's note), so then, his previous family has been keeping... a wolf.. a wild animal as a pet ??
