From what I remember reading in the novel he stayed loyal to his wife. He did live with the group of knights to help train them but it never went past the sister, friend or teather relationship I think, been awhile since I read it tbh so I might be forgetting some stuff.
He is very loyal and theres no harem. Basically every female in his group gets partners.
