Yeee, it's because this uke is kinda an airhead, and if you think about it, the whole thing with bisexual bondage man was unnecessary. It was just a loop in the rope to reach a point that could have been reached in a better way.
So yup, I get what you mean. That realization was just "Meh" Cause Chiba was presenting his honest feelings to Rihito and he just ignored them, and he found out he probably likes Chiba on his own accord and because he wasn't feeling entirely into it with this new guy than actually considering Chiba's feelings.

Sorry, I'm not so satisfied with the uke's realizations :(( I dunno why exactly but it feels off. I mean I love chiba, I want him to be truly loved and I know Rihito realized that he's attracted to Chiba not because of his way of doing the bondage but because Chiba truly likes him (I like it that way rather than loving a person mainly because of sexual gratification whether or not they realize it themsleves)... But it just feels off... It's like something is lacking.
And I wouldn't necessarily say Chiba was in the wrong too for feeling hurt. He tried the best he can to satisfy Rihito cause he liked him but during that last attempt Rihito kind of made it out like Chiba is the only one he can rely on just for the kinks (and not like he said he likes Chiba)... It's actually really insensitive (but no I don't hate Rihito) and I'd feel hurt about it too.
