I agree, I liked a lot the story, it feels very real, and I know it may be happening. It just hurts, you can call me sentimental, and I don’t ignore tae mistakes, but I do think he was the nicest in this story:/ everyone was terrible, disgusting just like real life ~ yay!
Have a nice day
Hope I can help others and learn from my and others wrongs
Don't you love going into the comments of a manhwa that's literally labelled tragedy and seeing people lose their shit over the fact that it was, well, tragic?
People are unsatisfied with the fact that the ending wasn't happy and that lessons weren't resolved. Let me tell you guys a secret: tragedies are tragic BECAUSE the characters never escape their hell. It's a tragedy BECAUSE they don't learn their lesson and don't find true salvation. It's supposed to tear you apart while you watch these flawed characters sink into their own damnation even if they could be saved. That's what makes it sad, that's what makes it compelling.
Like it or not this was an excellently written tragedy. The conflict that the father felt with his humanity and his resentment, the cruel reality of child abuse and how it can make a child into a monster, the ugliness of envy and how it can snuff out an innocent life, even Tae who shows the irrationality of love and how it can lead you to nowhere.
Yes every character is flawed including y'all precious Tae, are we going to forget that he raped Minjae when he felt like he was going to lose him? Is that not an incredible breach of trust on top of being controlling? Even the story treated it as an offense though I think it could've been treated way more seriously, there's no way Minjae should've gave him another chance after Tae ASSAULTED him but whatever. Anyway, I'm tired of people acting like Tae is innocent when he showed his ugly side too, like how he continued to over step his boundaries when Minjae told him from the jump what they were. Then again some fujoshis seem think rape is like a lovers' quarrel. It's not. He deserved more than the slap on the wrist.
Anyways, this is a tragedy. It's a realistic tragedy about very real life conflicts, this type of story is not for everyone but that doesn't make it a badly written story. It's amazing how people on this website can accept the flawed and fucked up characters on Killing Stalking because the plot and characters are very in-your-face and larger than life yet when the tragedy is more realistic and subtle people act like whiny babies because the story wasn't happy and the characters aren't perfect and completely likable. I knew what I was getting myself into when I clicked on this, y'all just mad your unrealistic expectations weren't fulfilled
