Need help

I'm mad that I didnt put this in my want to read section but idk if any of you can help but the little summary I remeber about it, theres a guy at high school and theres a new janitor working and he doesnt recognize him at first but then when hes trying to smoke a cigarette the janitor takes his pack of cigarettes away from him and throws a pack of candy cigarettes at his head and tells him he'll get a punishment if he sees him with a cigarette again and then later on the student was gonna fight on the street walking home but the janitor showed up and kicked those guys asses for him and the student and him went to his apartment and he revealed that they met before when he was a little boy and the boy used to look up to him and think he was cool, and the candy cigarettes were something that they had and he told him that's what the thugs use as an alternative to cigarettes because he didn't want him to smoke when he got older because it was unhealthy
lol and he told him he changed for him and waited for him...and they end up doing it and yeah that's all I remember...
