Yep! Things have been good so far. Im usually not a fan of romances in webtoons like this because usually romance= Harems, i know this isnt the case tho.
I don't mind romance but I don't like the concept of Harems/reverse harems (or even love triangle to some extent) just the idea of a person who can't decide who they love, it just seems conceited to me.
but I feel like people have read some poorly written manga and now they are judging every single shounen manga with romance unfairly.
the girl hasn't done any of the "damsel in distress" trope and she's getting so much hate for just existing.
it's not that "Love interest" is bad, "bad writing" is bad. plain and simple
Yess! Lol you've pretty much summed it up, i can enjoy a romance in a shounen as long as its not harem, the love interest is well written and it doesnt take over the whole plot. I think some ppl just cant stand female characters in shounen no matter how good they are.
I've been reading this manga for a while now and I have nothing but absolute trust that this mangaka will deliver an entertaining manga, regardless of there being a romantic subplot. They're such a freaking amazing writer and artist combo there is NO way they would mess it up
If this is the direction they want to go, then I'm all in! no questions asked!
