i don't think it's the fact that she's a strong female lead that makes people uncomfortable. it's her role in the bedroom/the BDSM aspect of this entire manhwa. imo it's shite and she's basically abusive. plotwise there's nothing going on except for her building up her harem of masochists. it's a story focused on sex that takes away from the MCs softer traits and instead emphasizes her temper and dominance rather than revealing her to be a multifaceted character.

She's not abusive. She actually gives her sub a time out(although subtle). And that proves she's a very good dom. If they want out, they can easily kick her, or punch her.. and im sure she'll be out cold in no time. You can see the build of her partners. So where is she abusive..?? The story so far is very interesting, at least for me. We don't see much of this kind of dominatrix. Normally, they use very pretty or busty femdom. This one didn't emphasize on her physical attributes but more on her relationship with her subs. She's plain. It even started with her failure in career. But the other side of her is very colorful that it balances her character quite well..

I'm not sure what you were expecting going into a manwha called "S Flower" which themes are labeled "mature, romance, & smut" but if you were expecting it to be the next Great Gatsby then I'm afraid you're in the wrong place. And, seeing as I hate people who call 'abuse' every time they see something they don't like, I'm not particularly sorry to inform you that safe, sane, and consensual BDSM does not, in fact, fall into that category. Tragic, I know. Looks like you'll just have to admit dominant female characters make you uncomfortable and move on with your life. Don't worry, it happens to the worst of us.

I'm laughing so hard so many people get pissed whenever there's a dominating female character and they'll use any excuse to bash her. 'no personality' my ass, the entire first chapter was just showing us her personality. She's kind and slightly bashful, but has a bad temper and loses it when she gets mad. She's also very dominating in the bedroom and likes to call the shots. She's optimistic and entrepreneurial, as she tried to start her own business and seems to be considering trying again. Not to mention she's responsible, taking care of the shop almost entirely by herself. Also to the people saying she's abusive, she respects her partner's boundaries, as seen in chapter 16 when he genuinely wanted to stop and she agreed. BDSM looks abusive, that's literally the point lmao. If it's safe, sane, and consensual there's nothing actually abusive going on.
