Agree, he could’ve been nasty to him, or act friendly and said something inappropriate. But he was showing himself honest and at the end he looked back like sad (or could be just a curious face) and not the freaked out face he showed DG before. Hope he doesn’t do anything stupid.
I'm actually wondering if that dude wanted to hang out in hopes of apologizing. What they did was cruel and DG's not obligated to forgive them EVER, but people often grow as they get older and realize some of the stuff they did as high schoolers wasn't okay. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but if he really just hated DG he would've just ignored him/taken his order and not said anything.
