It’s not about plot line differing, it’s about it not going anywhere at all and having strong characters with development. Her characters in previous works were weak, and even though she started out with a good concept it fell apart in the end. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t on level with where she is now. She’s grown, which is good. That’s all
The only weak characters in Hogu were Choi Yule and his family. They were cliched AF.
I don't think Hogu was really all that popular.....
