I am confused. I must have been living in LALA land until now because I did not hear a mother leaving her child or children behind in uncertain living circumstances and hit the road to a better life. Only in mangas that I am reading frequently I see/read/hear about this kind of thing. These kind of shitty mothers are really out there? Because every story can be based on a bit of reality but, like, every third to fifth story is based on this drama. Is it a common drama line in the stories or...? Better be! Those kinds of mothers should just drop dead on the road side! In stories and real life either.
I think it's an easy trope to go to for authors to force their characters into a tragic backstory pf isolation and loneliness. Same with parents dying in a car crash, which is equally as common.
Those types are out there.
well said. it is indeed another common drama plot. You can think that every second family have at least one member dying out of accident being as it may car/plane-crash or whatnot. (〜￣△￣)〜
