Or was it her Head if she's caught she's Dead meat. Someone finally noticed she's a Girl. I thought her Mom in this time period would've noticed too!

I meant (IS the MC) just a type-o It already posted all I could do was hope you'd over look it. ╥﹏╥ As a young gay female I gravitate towards manga that emphasizes strong female main characters I'm sorry ... kim

Oh, okay. I wasn't criticizing, I just thought you were writing "millennial", you know, and me being old not understanding it :-D
There are a lot of American main characters in comics, movies and tv-series that aren't really elligible as role models for young girls, since they all either are men in women's disguise, or sex symbols meant to make men fap (pardon my french...)
Japanese female heroins are much more relatable to real girls, is my opinion. The way Japanese mangaka tend to make them have their adventures in their school uniform, and make them behave like real girls, with normal girl's feelings, like the huge crush of Yui for her beautiful Wakagimi, or the motherly feeling of Kasane toward her two little brothers. It's not like those X-men-women or Catwoman or Wonderwoman. Those are hard to relate to, I think, if you're a real girl trying to find a role model.
Or am I wrong? You're a girl, tell me?

Totally normal girls with no super powers but still heroic.

I thought so. Those superpowers-things are so irrealistic, I guess they're just exciting for little boys. Girls usually are a lot more down to earth is my experience.
Boys don't seem to mind at all that their heroes don't look anything like normal men....
