You should honestly reread pg.22-28. Yuuki (the blond) took Natsume (the shy) to the hostess bar because Yuuki doesn't remember doing anything to make Natsume fall in love him. So Yuuki thought he was misunderstanding what he felt as love because Natsume doesn't have any experience with women or love and might be mistaking his love for Yuuki just because he was nice to him. So he takes him to the bar to clear this misunderstanding, but after finding out that Natsume really does like him, he gladly accepts to be with him.

Honestly I really liked this development a lot. He wasn't being an ass, he was trying to see if what Natsume felt was really love or just something he thought was love just because he's never experienced it before.

Thanks for explaining. he could have brought him to a gay bar or something instead of that place? the other person might swing that way if he likes him in the first place. Don’t worry though, i’m still giving this a shot. ^

Remember in the beginning, the senpai asked if the black haired guy is gay. He responded by saying no, he never dated anyone. And when asked why he likes him, he responded by saying the senpai is gentle, which is why the senpai thought he must have mistaken. It is really not the senpai being an ass, more like a misunderstanding.
