Yeah I agree, but I think it was supposed to be a joke, brought on by a desire to have DG's time. The kouhai did say 'who're you running off to meet all the time? Spend more time with me!', so I think this is like a semi-joke from Alex responding to that 'Now you know we're dating and he's coming to see me so don't interfere with our time nya!'
