No joke, just read some of the shit about NXIVM, it was a major company with a secret society ran by its founder that was advertised as a "special members only" part of the company. It was actually basically just a cult where the founder and any rich people who wanted to pay for membership enlisted women who were told they'd be highly paid secretaries in a big company, but then they kidnapped them, branded them with a hot iron and turned them into sex slaves. The trial is still going on right now and it is the craziest fucking shit that I have ever heard.
Not one slightly bit surprised. When you know that the government protects the most disgusting criminals just cause of a high statut they have and allow them to abuse, kill, spread unimaginable stuff, then this webtoon is almost -ALMOST- a walk in the field. Also why would there be any romantic sidestory to this haha i mean, can't you see that there is almost no space for that. The subject is heavy, the conversation very mature, the events disturbing... so yeah i don't get people angry about this...

It's not that It's showing woman's treatment, simple how poser is used in the entertainment and how everything people with a status abuse it. Also that sex can be used as a tool for good or bad intentions

This is a hard to read webtoon, but one of the most realistic ones I've ever seen. This ugliness ya'll talking about is the world we're not accustomed to because we live a normal middle class/ poor life. Yes girls (and guys) who want to get famous (or don't) get used as toys for horrible shit and this manga is not even showing the even darker side of what's really happening. So people blindly judging this webtoon bad bcs it's not fluffy and cute and very unrealistic... ya'll cute but live in a fantasy world... this webtoon is obviously not for you
