If they didn't the brother comes back to his senses, right? Has the novel been completed? If it has please please tell me there is a relatively happy ending... I've been reading all these depressing novels/manga/webcomics so I really need some happiness....

Yes!! At the end of the Novel, the identity of the killer is revealed, and he releases the eldest brother. The novel is complete and you can find it on Tapas. It’s a really good read, but the translation is full of errors and terrible grammar.
The end is a little hard to follow but everyone is happy at the end. If you have the money and don’t care about typos, I really suggest you read the novel. The tone is darker and it carries the same tone as the original artist of the manhwa. Unfortunately, the new artist is changing too many key chapters and the tone is now cheesy and forced. A real pity!

If they follow the novel, and I honestly don’t know at this point cause the new Artist is messing up the story and the whole thing is way darker in the novel and they have omitted a bunch of key elements in the manhwa to make it more child friendly.....











Chris is a highly sophisticated golem, an anthropomorphic being brought to life from inanimate matter. Kind of like a robot! The most shocking part is what is the actual inanimate matter used to bring them to life.

You know, when they were in those ruins, I expected more . . . . . a falling wall is just not the same as a human figure you know? Perhaps I've seen too many black and white old monster movies . . . .

Nothing really happens with the Golem at the pyramid in the novel. It was pretty much the same, except the pyramid wasn’t The Golem, and Jinsu didn’t really ask for permission. He was just stalking Sanghee, the way her Father does, and he happened to be waiting in the pyramid for disaster since he knew the whole thing had been planned by the Empire. The biggest difference were the monsters they encountered and the pyramid didn’t talk. Also, Sanghee doesn’t find out she has any powers until way later in the novel. So when she cures all the men, they assume it’s just something related to the pyramid. Only Chris, Jinsu, the Special Knights, and the Empire know the truth.
