In many mangas from omega world betas sense pheromones, but usually on the lower level - they are horny but don't go into rut.
Yeah, they don't go rampage like those alpha and can just smell a sweet fragrance. Lile how we smell a very good cologne or perfume but make us horny but not crazy as alpha ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I prefer that Betas don't sense pheromones at all. This is the second manga I've read where they do. Considering it really would be cruel when most of the population is Betas.
