Totally Captivated was my shittttt <3

honstally I never thought about it this way. hmmmm interesting.
Totally Captivated was favorite at the time I read it! I like it even today, so no wonder I will love this story too. though I think this story here is less funny unlike Totally Captivated.

Compared to Totally Captivated.. I think it lacks (than again, it's not done) BUT I got the same feels I did from there (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ like Ewon & Mukyuul in a watered down version... (no shade) but I did think it lacked in some areas like the drama department.. IF WE'RE COMPARING.. which is so odd because it had such hardcore themes like the Drugs and the sex ring! (⊙…⊙ ) but I feel it didn't commit.. WHICH I FEEL IS TERRIBLE TO SAY But I want to feel hopeless.. I LIIIIVE for like a dark serious type of drama.. something that can get me to feel the scariness of the scene.. idk how to explain it better right now.. even him being saved I didn't understand how... and I HATED that part of the solution.. was Zi Ming CONTRIBUTING to that sick community.. (but that's another story(〜￣△￣)〜)

I can see where you coming from, I think and this is only what I think that Totally Captivated try to be a drama, but end up been a comady romance instead - which it did pretty good by the way XD but the drama was pretty lame.
has for this story, the drama is much more serious and you won't see much if at all comady moments. which is work for the plot I guess, cause it meant to be a serious drama and romance, and when it try to get some comady in it feel kind of creepy. I don't know why XD
I actually was okay with Ziming saving him from been a slave and get rape, the reason for that is cause I seen too many trope's where the uke does not been save and the creators use it to show rape yaoi has a fan service - which I HATE MORE! so I"m pretty happy with that solution has lame it is, I preffer it over the MC getting rape by older man over and over again. and with Ziming dad, I wasn't suppose he know his way around the dark world. his papa sound horrible has well and in that world.

Oh! I didn't mean to sound like I wanted him to get raped or anything... I mean i didn't understand him being saved more so the second time with the drugs (sorry I knew it was gonna sound like that >___< bad transition!) but I just meant I wanted more from that incident.. like I thought it was over for him once he took that drink because Zi Ming literally had NO BUSINESS being there! The only reason he got saved.. was because the tattoo guy had such a weak resolve.. like why did u send him there if ur gonna back track?? and we really didn't get an insight on that either.. I just found that whole thing very pointless... compared to the build up I was like waiting for this shit to go down.. and we never really discussed it again.. so I was just very sad with the end result..

oh yeas I get it. it's just a trope I see everywhere when it come to this kind of situation. I didn't get why he was kidnap from the first place either, but hmm...I didn't like the whole situation anyway. so yeas I get why you didn't like it, but I was happy it was over fast. has for the guy that arrange the kidnapping and give up too fast - my explanation for that is Ziming kicking his dick, he didn't think it would happen XD I bet he don't want to lose his dick or get kick in there again. so he preffer to gave up on a slave then Ziming kicking his remove it, which I"m sure will happen if Ziming will find out.
don't get me wrong, I love Totally Captivated a lot! it was my favorite and it still is. but the drama in there just didn't felt too real or too comlicted, at least to me while here the drama did felt much more complex and hard to solve then the uke say he love the seme. I don't know, the drama just feel more real in this story and less simple to solve.
