Ikr, there is a limit to how much cliche I can tolerate but when she got the role the moment she said she wanted it, I was a little disappointed. I wanted for them to see her amazing acting skills and THEN judge, but instead suddenly the imaginary character appeared behind her which somehow everyone saw and the role was hers.
Like.....I understand how they are targeting us female audience who all secretly wish for a rich, stable, handsome, famous man to suddenly pop up in their life so that they spend the rest of their life without worries but STILL, this is just going overvoard

This manga is a tually based on a really good novel with the same title! It’s one of my top favorite novels of all time. I think this manga is rushing the minor details, but the novel definitely portrays the charactersand development in a more satisfying manner. <3 Her acting skills are clealy shown where she amazes everyone! Please give the novel a chance if you can~

I wish people would understand manhuas and Chinese novels are written from a different cultural framework and understand hints before declaring something they don't understand is cringeworthy and cliched, because that, in and of itself, is actually becoming the real cliche.
The artist/author even drew the blatant comparison between the way the other women dressed and the way the FL (purposely) dressed. She also WAS doing a little bit of acting there (acting IS more than words, btw. You DID know that, right?). Plus she proved her dedication and humility by being aware that the casting for the second leading female role was still taking place (this, even though, as we were soon told right after she requested the role and left, she has poor qualifications) and not demanding the role of the first female lead despite being late. But I guess no one else saw the obvious hints, there...?
Also, it's obvious this ML is the man who made her pregnant before she got into that accident (after all, the plot is formulaic. Still it does NOT automatically follow that it is cliched). Which, also obviously, means the boy is likely her son. And the boy clearly has some sort of trauma so getting him to communicate is NO small achievement. And the man ADORES his son so rescuing him is not something to take lightly, *either*. What makes it sound to YOU that his reasons for falling in love are trivial? Thx.
Finally, wanting all questions to be resolved before the first chapter is even finished IS what makes a story cliched. So basically while asking for a story to not be cliched at the same time this post was asking for it to BE cliched. Weird.

why are you acting so defensive for? you like it go ahead and continue. respect my opinion. the novel may have good storytelling but not this one. the storytelling lacks a bit from the start. they’re all over the place. wanting to marry someone because they saved your son is just bizarre to me.
an actress is worth for their acting though?? everyone in the industry can look good but acts badly. being late itself to an interview is not a good work etiquette. this isn’t realistic tbh.
feel free to comment what you think but don’t invalidate someone else’s opinion just because you don’t share the same one. ^ your opinion, my opinion. I accepted yours.

(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ YES~ I also feel the same, some converts well while some just doesn’t seem to do the original justice. It’s quite adorably fluffy and awesome after the initial introduction! Here’s where I read mine: https://wuxiaworld.online/full-marks-hidden-marriage-pick-up-a-son-get-a-free-husband
this is so cringey and cliche. how did she get that role? by looks only? this whole manhua is confusing. what happened to her baby? she saves the kid and suddenly he’s in love? this is too fairytale like it doesn’t seem real.
