I mean it’s hard to see what u have, especially when u aren’t happy with it. I don’t think ur wrong but I think it’s sad when u think about it. Her sister was loved from birth by her father, the person she wanted love from in the face of her crazy mother, and didn’t have to grow up in the social constructs of nobles and go through that rigorous process. Then she suddenly waltzes in and gets the best guy, with her mediocre talent and schooling. The prince was probably a way to get away from her father and at the same time maybe earn his respect by allowing their house to benefit from it but then all her hard work goes to someone who already has those things.
Yeah, I'm not blaming Violette for hating her sister and being jealous of her. She had it very hard and still is. I mean, it must've been extra irritating with how oblivious the sister is. All I'm saying is that if only she were able to see past the jealousy (which I know isn't an easy thing to do), she would've saved herself a whole lot of pain. But in the end she overcame it, so it's all good. I'm happy for her
after everything she want through theres no way someone would come out the other end being super nice to that girl, I completely understand her hatred and the only reason she can now over come it all is because she literally went back in time, I would have totally hated my family (maybe not the girl but I wouldn't have paid any attention to her) if I had to go through everything mc did
So, Violette could've had everything if she just hadn't been so jealous. I mean, look at how much her sister is getting attached to her just because she didn't treat her badly. Violette's sister can be the loving family she longs for so much. The sister might have everything Violette wanted, but it's not the sister's fault, she didn't take it away. The one at fault was the dad. Also, without being so blinded by jealousy Violette would've seen Yulan loves her very much. I ship Yulan with Violette. He genuinely cares for her, unlike the prince who only became interested now that she stopped paying him attention, lacks self awareness and is ignorant
