They say this story is traumatic AF.. well, for some maybe? I quite like it...

I read this like 5 years ago and I still laugh at how horrible the style is...

I usually don't say anything when I don't like the first few chapters. Not everything has to be made for me, it's not the story's fault that I don't like certain things and complaining about it for no reason other than this not being my cup of tea only ruins the discussion for everybody else. I mean it's not like I lost a lot by spending 10-15 minutes on reading this.
However, I'm going to make an exception for this.
To everyone who genuinely likes this webtoon: you don't have to bother yourself with my comment. Just skip it and have fun discussing it with people who actually like this story.
To everyone else:
Holy fuck, this is so bad it almost manages to fall into the "so bad it's fun" category.
This is starting to become entertaining just because of how horrible it is (although it's still a little bit too good right now. I'd enjoy it more if it was even more ridiculous).
Like in the first chapter it's established how he hasn't left the house in a year. And then a few panels later he tells us how he regularly leaves the house to buy instant noodles (with money that magically appears I guess because I don't think his father gives him the money and he doesn't work either) but also because he doesn't leave the house the sunlight immediately burns his skin but somehow without getting a a sunburn.
Also, how is the kidnapper not sure who the MC is? His vintage batman villain personality is already a stretch but then he even has to check if the guy in front of him is really the guy he's obsessed with and built this torture chamber for?! How stupid is he?
Besides, how come that in every badly written psychological/thriller/horror story the first reaction of every victim is to scream at the culprit? Not in a desperate way. In an arrogant and aggressive way. I know that we're not supposed to like the bully but come on. There should be a better way to make us dislike a character than by showing this generic, unrealistic reaction.
But the best thing about this webtoon is how the author somehow manged to include the "I'm only gay for you" tropes. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the author makes sure that we're constantly reminded how straight everybody actually is :D .
