I guess we're about to experience a resolution to part of the plot b/c it is strange that Doumeki is having an epitome about Yashiro's sex trauma. If we re-read chapter 1 from 2011 it's all there. Yashiro told him he was raped from childhood to age 18! He said he couldn't have a normal relationship too.

To give Doumeki the benefit of the doubt, Yashiro does act so put together, Doumeki probably figured (at the beginning) that Yashiro was fine--that he had resolved his issues with the rape and that yashiro was just plain flippant.
It wasn't until Doumeki treated him sweetly during oral and then actually sex that we really learn that Yashiro isn't okay.

I feel many people don't realize that a sexual abuse victim can become "addicted" to sex and dont always turn into ppl repulsed by another's person touch (it's a small number, but still possible).

Doumeki's sister is in the other category, rape victims who are uncomfortable with being around others. Doumeki is kinda slow, too. So until Nana spelled it out, he never realized Yashiro's actions were like a silent cry for help bcuz his past was tying him down.

Yes...all good points. Isn't it amazing that Misumi figured out as much after seeing Yashiro in his prime and asking him a few pointed questions? It's scary how well he reads people. If he had paid more attention to Hirata this plotline would have resolved itself ages ago
