In real Greek mythology, Zeus was always a jerk in every way and Poseidon was an asshole to women. Hades was the better god among the three but people were always afraid of him the most.(fear of death and the unknown) He was never 'evil' and even in his worst moments, he was nothing compared to many other gods.
