When I made a reference to KS, I wasn’t intending to compare it. I merely reference it becuz of how I’ve been needing to read a good yaoi psychological thriller after it becuz there hasn’t been any good ones lately so I thought I could read this. Didn’t plan on comparing it, I’ve just been feeling starved from psychological dark ass shit yaoi

Well, don't know your standard for 'good yaoi psychological thriller' cuz in my pov, KS didn't really try to address the psychological aspect properly either, as in elaborating the cause-effect of psychopathology traits each characters had. It focused more on the thriller with a bit of SM tendencies. But the plot and characters developments really stood out, antimainstream, and a pioneer in its genre.
If u like the dark yaoi psychological, you'll find a good one if you're into reading webnovel/stories. Search for the name 'home trained for you'..you'd think it was Stockholm syndrome at 1st, but it is actually a real disorder which is completely different

I just like anything remotely dark or disturbing to some degree becuz it shines a light to the other side of humanity that is not so sunshine and rainbows and is something that actually happens in real life. Before KS, I’ve only read the sugarcoated mild psycho-yaoi mangas. Now that I’ve been dwelling into manhwa and webtoon world, there have been some great stories I’ve found and i love it.
