I was terrified the first time it happened lol. I'm glad the vets told me the reason behind it.

The reason is because when rabbits have a phantom pregnancy, they feel the need to make a nest for the babies. My rabbit used her own fur. That’s why I had to separate the two after that.
Omg the phantom pregnancy ╥﹏╥ It reminded me the time I had two female rabbits (who were also sisters) and I had to keep them in different cages all the time because they would always "mate" and then one of them thinks their pregnant. That wasn't the big issue, the problem was that the one who thought she was pregnant would rip out her own fur in order to make a nest because she didn't have anything to make a nest with in her cage.
So yeah, I had two incest lesbian bunnies.
