I'm not sure if I was over analyzing in this chapter, but the bath scene was brilliantly done. The symbolism had me quaking.

This is exactly what the guy with the scar on his face did to him when he first came in

From the washing of his hair to the loss of his shirt, there was a feeling of renewal, forgiveness, and vulnerability. It should feel ill placed considering the circumstance but it gives the story another layer. Especially with how it’s been framed by the past. There’s a sense of the future being more emphasized than the past. Which isn’t what’s been important up to this point. It’s been all about the past and the present. So this definitely conveyed a turning point in the manhwa. It also displayed the true power dynamic dynamic. Dohyun has always inexplicably had power but we’ve never felt that tangibly. It felt more real in this scene. Especially with how he washed his hair and sat above him. God. I hope this isn’t a jumble. It’s hard to explain this without just talking. Lol.

Idk why but I felt a send of reverence coming from Sungho in that moment Dohyun was sitting above him. Like that’s the way it have always been and Sungho really missed it

From the way i see it Dohyun is still the upper hand and sungho allows him to be in that position. Idk who's the captor who's the prey anymore, something's ambiguous abt the twisted narrative and makes me fetish abt their toxic relationship. I do pray 24/7 happy ending as closure for them.

I agree. In this scene he was absolutely awed by him. It’s like Dohyun had been desperate for it to be that way. Honestly after seeing him as a child this position of complete control doesn’t see like the true him. Just the byproduct of his past traumas.

Hahahaha. Same I would love a happy ending, but at this point I have no idea what direction this is going in. From the moment they left the Warehouse, then when he stopped fighting. It’s felt like one hell of a rollercoaster.
